UPDATE: THIS BLOG, "THE CRUCIBLE" - AND "STONY BROOK"

Hi Friends!

Hope everyone is doing OK, the past two weeks have been particularly challenging and it is painful to think that there is much suffering still going on...

For those who have asked: I should resume posting to this blog (at least semi-regularly) sometime next week. It has taken some time to come to terms with my father's death and losing two parents in seven months has been particularly difficult. In addition - and this is a good thing - I was asked to take a major role in a community theatre production of "The Crucible"and although I know the part is a huge stretch and not a particularly good fit - I have thrown myself into the process of learning the part with much enthusiasm and determination. I cannot wait to get on stage again - it has been a few years. Of course, the acting process has also given me an additional outlet during this mourning period - another good thing! - since I have discovered that my daily three hour workout routine still only goes so far!  :-)

Since I have had some inquiries:   work on my new collection of introspective folk/rock songs....tentatively entitled "Stony Brook"...is close to completion.  As always there have been problems with the various software, and volume issues have continued to pop up...what can I say,  I am very pleased with the material and believe in it even it is produced by an amateur producer (myself) using a basic home studio.  (Hopefully the songs can be released soon and I can move onto other things.)

That's it for now, see you all soon...much love and happiness!
Stevenn
